The thunderstorm below, which developed at Bulahdelah, was pictured during a storm chase with Jimmy Deguara and Shannon Symons. It had the typical characteristics of a supercell. Lowerings were noticed from the updraught area of the storm and just slightly north of Buladelah, rotation was noticed. Due to the lack of road networks, this storm could only be observed from a distance. Later in the afternoon this cell moved off the coast just south of Forster, giving us a nice firework display to the east on the way home.
