| A new automatic weather station for Merriwa |

The Bureau of Meteorology constructed an automatic weather station (AWS) at Merriwa in late July. The real time data from this AWS is now available from the Bureau of Meteorology's website. This AWS forms part of the existing rainfall station of Merriwa (Roscommon).

| New radar maps have been released |

The Bureau of Meteorology have released a new map viewer for all radar images in Australia. The map includes optional overlays for topography, rivers and catchments, weather observations, roads and more.
